Terms of Service

Last Updated: July 17, 2026

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using SignGuard (accessible via signguard.co), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you are prohibited from using our services.

2. Description of Service

SignGuard provides developer APIs, libraries, and tools to detect, score, and validate email addresses, specifically focusing on identifying disposable, temporary, and fraudulent signups.

3. Subscriptions & Billing

We offer various subscription tiers (Free, Pro, Scale). Paid plans are billed on a recurring monthly or annual basis via Stripe.

  • Limits: Exceeding your plan's monthly limits will result in rate-limiting (429 errors) unless Overage Protection is explicitly enabled.
  • Overage Protection: If enabled, usage above your limit is billed at the overage rate specified on our pricing page.

4. Cancellation & Refund Policy

You may cancel your subscription at any time directly through the Stripe Billing Portal in your Dashboard.

  • Cancellations: Upon cancellation, your plan will remain active until the end of the current billing cycle, after which you will be downgraded to the Free tier.
  • Refunds: We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee for all initial subscription purchases. If you are unsatisfied with our service, contact us within 7 days of your payment for a full refund. Refund requests after 7 days are generally not eligible.

5. API Key Security & Usage

You are solely responsible for safeguarding the API keys generated under your account. You agree not to share, distribute, or publicly disclose your API keys. Abuse, excessive request rates, or attempting to reverse-engineer our detection database may result in immediate suspension.

6. Limitation of Liability

SignGuard is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that our service will be completely error-free or that it will block 100% of temporary emails. In no event shall SignGuard be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our API.

7. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
